Oh, Good! I'm glad to hear it's a good movie. I like Denzel Washington a lot, but I was on the fence about this movie. It seemed like it could go either way.

Thanks for the tip!

The Book Of Eli's a little like The Road. Both post-apocalyptic movies, although what exactly caused the demise of civilisation as we know it isn't quite made clear in either movie. Very dark and forbidding movies. Some great humour in The Book of Eli. Washington's like a latter day David Carradine (a la Kung Fu) only his "grasshopper" is a little more bloodthirsty.

Re. the moderating of posts Rob ......... I seem to remember that after the first couple had been moderated and found to be OK there wouldn't be any more "censorship"

I am so waiting for The Road. Is it out yet?

I understand that the Book of Eli is a remake of Zardoz, with a lot of elements changed -- but basically the same story. Did you see that in it?

Well, like I said, I'm a big Denzel fan, so I am sure I will see it. Something about him just doesn't age...

Too bad Quentin Tarantino didn't direct it -- he could have made him the same guy played by Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction -- I mean, that's kind of where he was going.

About the moderating: Well, you're signed on as a guest (I don't really know who you are -- I mean, I am guess I do, but not by the name here). All you have to do is create an account, and then get one message approved. After that, it never asks again.

I turned on anonymous posting (which I think tricks you into entering messages without being logged in, actually), because I felt like it would encourage posting. I have to moderate messages though, because I have to delete a fair share of spam every day -- if it's not moderated, then it becomes active on the board immediately.

See you later,

Rob
